Thanks, Paul! Funny that it was only mega.co.nz that was problematic, though -- i've never had this difficulty with other file-sharing sites. But it's solved, that's the main thing :-)Freghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13775501441207658812noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7758121285650208378.post-15526662915000107022014-04-29T14:46:28.379+02:002014-04-29T14:46:28.379+02:00Hi,Richard. The safest way is to create a folder specifically for downloads. Use Chrome. Click the three bars on right hand side of screen. Click settings. Scroll down to show advanced settings. Scroll down to Downloads. Click on Change Download Location. Use My Music as a default location. All your downloads will go there. Then go to your start button on bottom left of pc. Right click on My Music. Click Send to Desktop. You won't lose anything again. I hope this helps...Cheers...PaulA.O.O.F.Chttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00720016241289074162noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7758121285650208378.post-43899351389527177612014-04-29T00:59:37.689+02:002014-04-29T00:59:37.689+02:00Maybe you can help me with this, Paul, I don't...Maybe you can help me with this, Paul, I don't like mega.co.nz -- the files d/l ok (i think) but to somewhere other than my download folder, and i have no idea where they are, and searching my machine for ***.rar is fruitless.
