A return to the Baked Potato in Hollywood, CA circa 1999-2000 for Volume Two of Jeff Richman & Friends. There are six different groups of musicians who perform instrumental material by Jeff Richman, Jan Hammer ('Star Cycle'), Jeff Beal, and others. The album is not a fuse-fest, and there is more of a straight-ahead jazz vibe on this release than Volume One of this release. Nevertheless, great fusion is not always about incendiary guitar shredding, and this is a high calibre album of great music from artists that include Vinnie Colaiuta, Jeff Babko, Abraham Laboriel, and Jimmy Haslip [All tracks @ 320 Kbps: File size = 135 Mb]
