Wow, great post! Do you happen to have the album where the songs of Steely Dan done in a big band style? I heard it before and it was great. I think they are from Germany. It's a pity that I only heard it on an internet radio station and I surely want to have a copy of it.

Hi evilagan! There are some great covers on the album, especially the mega-rare Capability Brown version of "Midnite Cruiser," & the versions of Giles The River, & Jones. The big band style album you mention is probably THE HOOPS McCANN BAND - PLAYS THE MUSIC OF STEELY DAN from 1988 on MCA. It's an album I am trying to get hold of as well. If anybody is reading this, then please any info is appreciated! Thanks for comment evilagan, and talk to you soon!

Hi,Marcelo. Thanks for request, but I haven't got the album to repost. My I Tb external hard drive was stolen with hundreds of albums. Many of the albums were Steely Dan related, and I don't know if I can ever replace the music I lost. TTU soon...Paul
